Khan’s has become a bit of a “destination” in Arusha… It is car servicing centre by day… but at night is transformed into a Chicken BBQ Restaurant… with a reputation for great food at a great price.
On dark, Khan and his “pit crew” pull out some BBQs onto the street, fire them up with coals, and start cooking amazing tandoori chicken. Served with a great array of salads (some extremely spicy hot), Naan bread, Greasy chips (just the way the Tanzanians like them), and a n ice cold soda. They also server Beef and Mutton…. and the call to prayer which regular rings out from the Mosque just up the road adds a nice touch to it…
