Apparently, even though the actual smoking of marijuana is illegal in Cambodia it is considered quite acceptable to include it as an ingredient in cooking.  Hence  at many restaurants/cafes it is possible to  get it added as an extra with your meal.

At our “local” breakfast cafe they have an option for “Happy Happy Pizzas”, which includes Marijuana on any pizza of your choice for 10,000 Riel  (4,000 Riel is 1$US – so that’s about $2.50).  With the state of my stomach I didn’t even find the prospect of pizza very appealing, so the idea of some extras did not make me feel very happy at all….
